The potential crash of Wall Street is a condition we haven't seen since the last time we had a Republican President and in a less dramatic way, the last time the Republican House came close to defaulting on our bills. When was that? Oh yes way back in November of 2012. That was in the last elections when they wanted to help Mitt Romney. It was disappointing to see them raise the ceiling right after Obama was elected as there would be no more march to a potential collapse in a weakened economy. They passed it a few months later in January but that was fun while it lasted. It feels like the good old days of economic failure so there is a comfort in seeing it again. Each day that marches us forward toward October 17th is a march toward the past or is that "Back to the Future"? It is like that warm bowl of stew mom made on rainy days. No I am wrong, it is probably more like a beaten child growing up and marrying a spouse abuser.
The cost of the plunges, that sometimes we make it through and other times we don't, add to the deficit in ways most don't realize but you have to pay more to get quality economic failure. Bring it on Republican House Members. Do it for the good old days.
